Said, 18 years old, lives in a refugee camp in Iraq/Kurdistan, (please look also here)

»When I arrived in the camp five years ago, I did not know anyone, but now I have a lot of friends here.
I finished school in the camp, a school that did not exist when the camp was set up. At the moment I'm studying business administration in my second year at an institute in Zakho.
The best moments in the camp were receiving my school leaving certificate and when I'm together with my family.
I met a lot of people from the past – my cousins, for example – and heard news through them. They live in a different place, but we see each other from time to time. I wish that I could go back to Sinjar – our homeland.
I remember my old friends there well and the old house where I grew up. Especially the old friends, which I have not seen again, appear in my memories. Since we left Sinjar, I have not seen or heard anything from them.
My dad helps me most in handling everything that has happened. My friends and a girl also help me to deal with and to forget the past.
I would like to become a footballer or work as a reporter in future.«
