»I always get only limited contracts for a period of three or four months. Initially, I wanted to become a teacher at a public school, I had even taken part in the entrance examination for the civil service but due to the cut backs no new jobs have been created. To get a job at a private school you need to have connections.
The biggest share of responsibility for our situation rests with the politicians and the financial sector and in the end the Spanish people have been living beyond their means. I wouldn't leave without my boyfriend but if it got worse and nothing improved I would look for work within Europe.
Even if I don't work in my desired job I am happy to be able to teach.«
